We will study how God created a people, how the people increased in number, and how the people reacted over time as they increased in number. This class is a caring, sharing group of people who show God's love in practical ways through relationships. Mostly retired and experienced, they enjoy a facilitated class setting, and learn a lot through open conversation.

Fit 4 Life Senior Fitness

Dorcas Quilters

This quilting team makes baby quilts for LifeChoices Pregnancy Center, and also craft walker bags and lap robes for several senior citizen living centers. Interested in joining these ladies?

His Hands Ministry

Third Monday of the month, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

This group sews comfort items such as bears, pillows, and turbans for cancer patients that are then distributed to local oncology units in area hospitals.

Hip Bones in Concert

The Hip Bones are four excellent musicians who all play the same instrument—Trombone! Yes, a Trombone Quartet! They play music of all styles from the 16^th Century to Jazz. For The Gathering, they will throw some unique arrangements of hymns in the mix and major in the Jazz genre! Hip, as you know stands for “cool.” You will enjoy these cool dudes.

Gospel Music Concert

The last Gathering of the season will once again feature the popular Gospel Music Concert by our Worship Choir! You’ll enjoy your favorite gospel music featuring not on our choir, but also many ensembles and soloists. For sure, bring a guest and don’t miss the finale of The Gathering season! Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Center, and the concert will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium.  

Things to Know about The Gathering:

• We hope to be able to keep the cost of The Gathering at $8. If increased food prices force us to raise the price we’ll give everybody plenty of lead time.
• The Gala Gathering in January will cost $12.
• Tickets for The Gathering may be purchased in the Lobby on weekdays during office hours. Tickets are also available on Sunday mornings from 9-9:30 a.m. and from 10:30-11 a.m. If you attend church Saturday night or on Sunday, you can ask for an event registration envelope at the Welcome Counter. Complete the information on the envelope, and return with payment. The tickets will be waiting for you at the door on the evening of The Gathering. You can also call Paul at 303-776-2927 for reservations, and pay when you pick up the tickets at the door.

Out on the Town
