Location: Longmont Campus, 10345 Ute Hwy, Longmont, CO US 80504

This class uses a DVD driven curriculum by parenting expert Dr. Tim Kimmel and The Family Matters Ministry. In Grace Based Parenting, Dr. Kimmel offers a revolutionary concept that focuses on the model and guidance provided by God the Father—the ultimate child and family expert. Grace Based Parenting is not another class full of impossible standards; rather it teaches us to see ourselves and our children through God’s limitless tenderness—to raise our kids the way God Raises us. As we embrace the grace he offers, we begin to give it—creating a sound foundation for growing morally strong and spiritually motivated children.

Parenting Teens

Location: Longmont Campus, 10345 Ute Hwy, Longmont, CO US 80504

So, what’s troubling your teen?

Today’s parents and teens face a lot of issues. In addition to peer pressure, the desire to be accepted, anxiety over grades, confrontations over fashion, issues with friends, and others. Parents and teen’s grapple with things far bigger than these issues. The bigger issue is what and who holds your teen’s heart captive. Regardless of the issue and no matter how disconnected you  and your teen may feel, this class based on the book Age of Opportunity, by Paul Tripp, will help you find biblical answers to help you parent your teen more effectively, by seizing the countless opportunities to deepen communication and your relationship with your teen. Even more importantly, with the Father’s help--you will gain practical steps to capturing your teen’s heart.

Cost $28 per couple. Child care is available at no cost.

Small Groups, Counseling, and Mentoring:

Fireproof Your Marriage

The Fireproof Your Marriage small group curriculum is founded on Biblical principles for strong, God-centered, lifelong marriages. This 6-week study uses exclusive video clips from the movie “Fireproof,” along with thought-provoking discussion questions, and individual and couple’s devotionals to challenge members to grow deeper spiritually and in their relationship. For more information, or to join a group, contact Donna, 303-776-2927 or 970-660-4078.

Fireproof Your Life

We all experience spiritual dry spells when the flames of tragedy, loss, and grief blight our inner landscape. How can you conquer life's fires? In this ten-week study for all adults, not just married couples, you will be discussing issues such as faith, finances, relationships, decision-making, and dealing with times of crisis.  Discover how hardships can help you survive the blaze of life's trials! The companion study guide gives the group an opportunity to process the 10 chapters of the book. For more information, or to join a group, contact Donna, 303-776-2927 or 970-660-4078.

Love Dare

During this six-week study and accountability group, married couples in the group will mutually follow the 40 day ‘Love Dare’ process from the book, Love Dare. Every day, each person, will read the teaching, do the exercise, and then journal that day’s experience. The group will meet weekly, and discuss the weeks teaching principles, and then share their personal experiences for that week with the group. This is a great follow-up study to ‘Fireproof Your Marriage.’  For more information, or to join a group, contact Donna, 303-776-2927 or 970-660-4078.

Love & Respect

Communication between a husband and wife is often frustrated because of the vastly different ways in which men and women perceive love. Women are wired to need unconditional love, and men need to feel unconditionally respected. Revitalize the love in your marriage! Based on the book, Love & Respect, by Dr. Eggerichs, couples meet together, fellowship, share their stories, watch a short teaching on DVD, and work through a study guide to help internalize the teaching. For more information, or to join a group, contact Donna, 303-776-2927 or 970-660-4078, or .

Marriage by "The Book"

Maybe your relationship needs a little adjustment. Maybe it needs a complete overhaul. Whatever condition your relationship is in, Marriage By "The Book" has the marriage help you need. Couples meet together, fellowship, and find Bible based knowledge to improve, or even save their marriage! For more information, contact .
