About the Men’s Ministry

The Men’s Ministry at LifeBridge is for men who are looking for an adventure. We are not just about hanging out with the guys. We are about seeing men get off the sidelines and into the game. We believe we play the game of life best when we are connected to and serving alongside other men. If you are looking for adventure, purpose, and greater connection, join the men’s ministry and get into the game.

Service

The most important thing our guys do is to serve our church and community. Whether it is helping people move, fixing a single mom’s car, or building a ‘Habitat’ house, our guys are ready to get their hands dirty. If you want to make a difference in someone’s life you should join one of our service teams. For more information about one of our teams you can contact the following:

  • Parking Team: Tim Onley,
  • Single Moms' Car Clinic: Ken Jones,
  • Moving Team: Pat Patterson,
  • Handy Man Ministry: John Tyler,

Sports:

LifeBridge hosts some of the best sports leagues on the Front Range. If you are into basketball, softball, or volleyball you have come to the right place. We have leagues for all ages and all levels of competition. You can find out more information about our sports leagues at www.lbcc.org/lifesports.

CMA—Christian Motorcyclists Association

CMA has over 100,000 members in over 800 chapters across the US. LifeBridge is connected with three CMA chapters on the Front Range. CMA does so much more than motorcycle rides. They attend national conferences, work with prison ministries and the homeless, and so much more. Where ever there is a motorcycle event you will find the CMA. You can find more information at www.cmausa.org. If you would like to find out how to connect with the CMA in our area you can contact David Rhodes at .

Men's Upcoming Events

Outdoor Baptism Event

Sunday, August 01, 2010, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: Longmont Campus, 10345 Ute Hwy, Longmont, CO US 80504

Take the Plunge at the Outdoor Baptism Event!

The Outdoor Baptism Event on August 1, immediately following the "ONE" Body worship service at 10 a.m., will be an awesome opportunity to share with others through baptism the life-change that God has done in your life. Baptism is an act of obedience that follows the example of Jesus—a public demonstration of your belief that Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection has made it possible for you to be forgiven of all your sins, and allows you to have a relationship with Him, and be reconnected to Him.

"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." -Romans 6:4 (NIV)

Have you taken the ultimate step of faith? Consider taking the step to make a commitment to Christ and to LifeBridge--take the plunge!

Towels will be provided. Contact Stephanie at ext. 265, for more information.

Men's Fraternity

Every Tuesday, 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM

Location: Longmont Campus, 10345 Ute Hwy, Longmont, CO US 80504

Whether it’s the latest action flick, ESPN, your wife, or the latest beer commercial, everyone has an opinion about what it means to be a real man. So what’s the answer? Men’s Fraternity digs into Scripture and equips men to find God’s answer to what it means to be a man.

Join us Tuesdays from 6-7:30 a.m., in the Fellowship Center, at the Longmont Campus (Breakfast is provided, $3 suggested weekly donation benefits our Single Moms' Ministry). Wednesdays, from 6:30-8 p.m., in the Fellowship Center, at the Longmont Campus (coffee and refreshments are provided). Book cost is $10.

Join us for an informational kick off breakfast on Tuesday, September 7.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game…

This is a great opportunity for us to get together, and enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon eating hot dogs, watching the game, and enjoying fellowship time, and listen to testimonies from Christian athletes. This is a great opportunity to bring your children, and to invite family and friends to join us.

LifeBridge has reserved a block of seats. Cost of tickets are $20 each, with part of the cost ($5) going to sponsor a Single Parent’s child to attend. Purchase your tickets during the July 4 Celebration, or at the Activities Center during regular business hours.
