Why go on a Mission Trip?

Mission Trips are life changing experiences. We go on trips thinking that we are going to help others, and we come home knowing that we are the ones who have been blessed. This is the way the Kingdom of God works; giving is always more blessed than receiving.

  • Mission Trips bring us a Kingdom perspective. It helps us see the world and God's Kingdom as He sees them.
  • Mission Trips are life changing experiences. We go on trips thinking that we are going to help others, and we come home knowing that we are the ones who have been blessed. This is the way the Kingdom of God works; giving is always more blessed than receiving.
  • Mission Trips help us establish better priorities. We live in a blessed country others do not. It helps us realize that our own goals, priorities and happiness need to be tied to the spiritual side of life.
  • Mission trips help us to recognize the need to serve at home, too. The spiritual needs at home are just a desperate as they are in other countries. We need to do something about our friends, neighbors, and co-workers who have yet to know Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • Mission Trips help us grow in our faith and outreach for Jesus Christ. Mission trips are life-changing experiences. You cannot afford not to go!
