Adult Education

There are many opportunities for volunteers in Adult Education. These include: facilitating, serving as a facilitator's assistant, or leading a home Bible study. You may also assist by being a classroom administrator who opens the class, takes prayer requests, introduces new people, leads a class project, participates on class planning teams, and participating within a class care ministry providing assistance to others. Some positions require membership, but others do not. Volunteer.

Adults 50 & Better

Be a part of the planning teams and events centered on senior adults. We have many serving groups, including the handyman ministry (doing fix-up jobs around the house for elderly and widows) and sewing groups that quilt for the local pregnancy center and make comfort items for cancer patients. Caring for those older than us can come in the form of a ride to events, as well. Volunteer.

AVM (Audio, Video, Media) Ministry

The AVM teams make sure the sound is right, the visuals are projected, the videos are recorded, and the stage is lit during weekend worship services and other church events. After your training, you serve 1-2 weekends per month on a rotating basis. Membership is not required and extensive training is provided. If you have a servant's heart, are creative, and like playing with audio and video, this may be your opportunity to serve behind the spotlight. Volunteer.

Children's Ministry (LifeKids)

There are always opportunities to use your gifts in the LifeKids ministry! Positions include teaching (we provide the curriculum) as a lead, or assistant, with children ranging from babies up to 5th graders. We also have opportunities with craft prep, music, and special events. Our special needs ministry teachers, assistants, and buddies provide for our special needs children. Membership is required as a lead teacher, but only a love of children is needed for other positions. No experience needed and training is provided. Time commitment is 1 hour per week, at least twice a month. Volunteer.

Hospitality

We provide meals and snacks for a variety of events, both here at the church and in the community. Sometimes we cook, sometimes we serve. We have a great team of people who work together. Membership is not required; the time commitment is based on your schedule. Volunteer.

Information Technology

Assist with data processing or help desk support in the church offices during the week. You will provide support to LifeBridge staff members on software and hardware related issues, so some experience is needed. On the job training is provided. Time commitment is very flexible. Two to four hours at least twice per month. Volunteer.

LifeGroups

Our small groups ministry leaders are committed members of LifeBridge who want to make a difference in their community. The time commitment is 2-4 hours per week, leading a group in your home and requires LifeBridge membership. Volunteer.

LifeSports

If you have a passion for sports, consider volunteering during Upward season (January through March). Upward basketball and cheerleading leagues thrive because of volunteers who are willing to coach, referee, and keep score. Volunteer coordinators provide their knowledge and experience to insure the adult basketball, volleyball, and softball leagues provide maximum fitness and fun. Plan to commit 2-3 hours per week for the season as a coordinator. If you would like to work with children, consider assisting with a summer sports camp for children ages 4 through 6th grade (5 days per camp, 3 hours a day). Volunteer.

Marriage and Family

If God has laid it on your heart to help save marriages come volunteer a few hours from time to time to bless another couple on their journey by mentoring them or just giving them a word of encouragement or praying with them- training is available. We also have opportunities if you would like to help couples on their journey by leading a small group for couples - the training and material will be provided. Volunteer.

Office Help

Many different teams work in the office, stuffing weekly bulletins, sorting Response Cards from weekend services, and performing receptionist duties at the front desk. The time commitment varies, from 1-3 hours per week to 3-4 hours per month. Volunteer.

Outreach Ministry

The outreach ministry longs to get people connected to faith in Christ. We love to meet with people who have questions on baptism, membership, their personal relationship with Christ, or needing prayer. LifeBridge membership is required and the time commitment 1 hour at least 2 times per month. Volunteer.

Pastoral Care/Counseling/Elder Care

Caring for people is the number one trait for those who want to serve in Pastoral Care. From being a member of the prayer team to Support Group and Celebrate Recovery leaders, lay counselors, and people who visit shut-ins and the elderly, along with providing assistance with food for funerals and those in need are just a few of the ways you can serve in Pastoral Care. The time commitment varies from 1-2 hours, once a month, to 3-4 hours weekly. Volunteer.

Special Needs Ministry

If you are a patient and caring person, who enjoys teaching or playing one on one with children with special needs, we have opportunities for you to serve. You can provide a child or teen the opportunity to be integrated into classes with their peers during weekend services. Volunteers are responsible for teaching and assisting special needs students in a contained classroom. Volunteers must be willing to be present 30 minutes prior to the service and to stay for 10-15 minutes to clean up classroom.

You may also volunteer one Saturday in December to provide childcare for a variety of disabled children and their siblings, and provide the parents the opportunity to have an afternoon to go Christmas shopping without having to care for their children. Some experience with special needs helpful, but not necessary. Training will be provided. Background check will be performed.

Street2Seat Ministry

We have volunteers from the parking lot team, to greeters, to ushers, to communion prep, medical response, to security. Almost any personality is represented in this ministry-behind the scenes people, people oriented people, people who work independently and people who work with a team. Time commitments range from ½ hour per week, twice a month, to 2 hours per week. Volunteer.

Women's Minstry

Our ministry to women involves many facets of events and programming: Event administration, coordination, and décor; Drama, media teams, and publicity; Worship teams, small group leaders, and Bible study leaders. Many positions require membership, but most do not. The time commitment varies from 1 hour weekly to multiple hours during an event cycle. If you are a woman who wants to connect with other women, this is the place! Volunteer.

Worship

Worship ministry volunteers are talented individuals who sing, play instruments or are on the creative team. Although auditions are not required for the Traditional Worship Choir, they are required for most other positions, and membership is sometimes required. The time commitment for these positions varies, from 5-15 hours per week, 1-2 times per month. Volunteer.

Youth Ministry (Student Impact)

Come along side our middle and high school students and develop relationships by leading classes or small groups, attending youth group, summer camps, winter retreats, mission's trips, and more! Attendance at Sunday morning, Wednesday night, and special events several times a month is expected. We encourage you to develop consistent relationships with students that foster trust and friendship. A Youth Volunteer Application with three references that will be interviewed, background check, driver screening, and staff interview is required. Volunteer.
